El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) followers went home content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA), 59-0 in a league match.

The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Centennial (Compton, CA). The Apaches come into the Ocean match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Centennial was routed by Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA), 33-0, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Normans play the West Warriors (Torrance, CA) in a Ocean battle, on Friday, October 17. Beverly Hills will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 42-6 league win over Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA).
