The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) football tipped the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 10-7 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Friday, October 17. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Bees enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 35-22 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV).

The Minutemen (1-5) will now prepare for their game against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies enter the Big Ten game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, North Marion held off Elkins (Elkins, WV), 41-13, in a league game.
