The Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) football bounced the host East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 61-29 in Friday's league contest.

The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oakdale (Oakdale, CA). The Mustangs enter the Valley Oak League contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Oakdale crushed Patterson (Patterson, CA), 56-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) in a Valley Oak League contest, on Friday, October 17. East Union will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 63-24 league win over Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
