The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks football team (Colorado Springs, CO), was tipped 52-45 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Scorpions (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Olympians enter the 4A I-25 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Gateway was nudged by Centaurus (Lafayette, CO), 51-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Red-Tailed Hawks battle the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) in a 4A I-25 contest, on Thursday, October 16. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 0-7 record after their 55-6 league loss to Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO).
