In Friday's league match, the host Upper Scioto Valley Rams football squad scored a good 50-24 win over the Elgin Comets.

In their next game, the Rams play the Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Friday, October 17. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Polar Bears go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 48-6 non-league loss to Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH).

The Comets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Lima, OH). The Commodores go into the Northwest Central challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Perry was dropped by Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH), 33-9, in a league challenge.
