In Friday's league match, the host Northwestern Trojans football squad scored a good 56-40 triumph over the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets.

The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Bearcats come into the AAAAA Region 3 match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Rock Hill defeated Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 30-14, in a league match.
