The Palmerton Blue Bombers tipped the host Salisbury Township Falcons football squad by a margin of 26-25 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial-Schuylkill - B test on Friday, October 17. Palmerton will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 34-22 league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-0.

With the defeat, Salisbury Township drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B challenge on Friday, October 17. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Northern Lehigh won 42-12 in their recent league challenge against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA)
