Louisiana High School Football - Westlake prevails St. Louis Catholic

In Friday's league challenge, the host Westlake Rams football team scored a nice 21-13 victory over the St. Louis Catholic Saints.

In their next game, the Rams face the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 21-8 league win over Crowley (Crowley, LA).

With the defeat, St. Louis Catholic drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Saints host Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA) to clash with the Trailblazers in a 3A District 3 test on Friday, October 17. The Trailblazers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Lake Charles College Prep won 43-32 in their recent league game against Jennings (Jennings, LA)
