In Friday's league game, the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) football team overcame the visiting Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA), by a tally of 35-12.

In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA) in a Peninsula - El Camino game, on Friday, October 18. Fremont will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 28-14 league loss to South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA).
