The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA), witnessed Granby's football squad wallop Lake Taylor by a count of 62-13.

The Comets (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers enter the Eastern contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Churchland was routed by Norcom (Portsmouth, VA), 36-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Titans confront the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern contest, on Friday, October 18. Lake Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 97-0 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA).
