The Oscar Smith Tigers felled the host Indian River Braves football team by a score of 22-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, October 18. Oscar Smith will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 16-12 league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).

The Braves (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors go into the Southeastern challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Nansemond River toppled Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 59-26, in a league challenge.
