Texas High School Football - Perryton can't hold off Liberty
October 11, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79424 The Liberty Patriots got by the visiting Perryton Rangers football team by a score of 43-40 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots play the Borger Bulldogs (Borger, TX) in a 4A-2 Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Denver City (Denver City, TX).
The Rangers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors go into the 4A-2 Region I District 2 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Estacado nipped Levelland (Levelland, TX), 28-23, in a league challenge.
