Oregon High School Football - Monroe loses to Toledo
October 11, 2024: Monroe, OR 97456 Toledo Boomers (Toledo, OR) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR), 40-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Toledo advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Boomers host Waldport (Waldport, OR) to play the Irish in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) battle on Thursday, October 17. The Irish go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Waldport lost 38-8 in their recent league battle against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR)
The Dragons now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central Linn for a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. Monroe will play a Cobras team coming off a 38-0 league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, OR). The Cobras record now stands at 2-4.
