North Carolina High School Football - Triton tops Western Harnett

October 11, 2024: Erwin, NC 28339

The Triton Hawks football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Western Harnett Eagles to 15 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Forest for a 3A/4A All-American test on Friday, October 18. Triton will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 52-32 league win over E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Western Harnett drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Golden Bulls in a 3A/4A All-American test on Friday, October 18. The Golden Bulls come into the test with a record of 1-6. E.E. Smith lost 52-32 in their recent league test against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)
