The Hoover Buccaneers topped the host Briarwood Christian Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Buccaneers face the Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 11. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 35-8 season record. The Golden Bears go into the game with a 9-20 record after their 2-0 league loss to Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL).
