California High School Volleyball - Northwood over Costa Mesa
October 11, 2024: Irvine, CA 92620 The Northwood Timberwolves volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Costa Mesa Mustangs to 1 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Timberwolves now possess a 18-11 record. They play next when they host Laguna Beach for a Pacific Coast outing on Tuesday, October 15. Northwood will play a Breakers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 5-24.
With the loss, Costa Mesa drops to 17-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Westminster (Westminster, CA) to play the Lions in a Golden West outing on Tuesday, October 15. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 10-14. Westminster won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA)
