New Mexico High School Football - Hope Christian sneaks past Pojoaque Valley

The Hope Christian Huskies football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 20 in the Huskies league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robertson for a 3A District 2 test on Saturday, October 18. Hope Christian will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 34-6 league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.

The Elks/Elkettes (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Santa Fe Indian was edged by Thoreau (Thoreau, NM), 46-0, in a non-league game.
