Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (33-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Academy beat Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders play the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 14. Wellington will attempt to advance on its 18-9 season record. The Bullpups go into the game with a 23-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).
