Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Monticello improves its record to 19-8 on the season. The Magic travel to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 11-8. Wayzata lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN)

With the loss, St. Michael-Albertville drops to 12-13 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to play the Spuds in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 15.
