Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) and the host Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN), observed Triton Central's volleyball team top Waldron by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (20-8) will now prepare for their battle against Morristown (Morristown, IN). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league battle with a 11-15 record. In their last battle, Morristown was defeated by Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Mohawks now own a 7-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Decatur for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. Waldron will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Union County (Liberty, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 14-16.
