Missouri High School Softball - Capital City bounces Kirksville
October 12, 2023: Kirksville, MO 63501 Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kirksville Tigers (Kirksville, MO), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now own a 12-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Helias for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Capital City will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fatima (Westphalia, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-9.
With the loss, Kirksville falls to 16-10 on the campaign.
