October 12, 2024: Aurora, CO 80010 George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), 32-6 in a league battle.
With the win, George Washington advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Patriots host Montbello (Denver, CO) to play the Warriors in a battle on Saturday, October 19. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Montbello lost 42-17 in their recent league battle against Northfield (Denver, CO)
The Trojans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Aurora Central will play a Spartans team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Denver North (Denver, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
