October 12, 2024: Sylmar, CA 91342 Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Carson Colts (Carson, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sylmar improves its record to 19-19 on the season. The Spartans host Glendale (Glendale, CA) to face the Nitros in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Nitros go into the test with a record of 25-4. Glendale won 3-1 in their recent league test against Pasadena (Pasadena, CA)
The Colts now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Carson will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.
