October 12, 2024: Essex, IA 51638 Melcher-Dallas Saints (Melcher, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Essex Trojans (Essex, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Melcher-Dallas improves its record to 7-10 on the season. The Saints travel to Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA) to face the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Saints go into the test with a record of 17-1. Mormon Trail won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)
The Trojans now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanton for a non-league test on Monday, October 14. Essex will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East Mills (Malvern, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 16-13.
