In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Western Plains Bobcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Triplains/Brewster Titans.

The Bobcats (15-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, KS). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-24 record. In their last challenge, Deerfield lost by Syracuse (Syracuse, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Titans play the Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Triplains/Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-28 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 2-0 league loss to Golden Plains (Rexford, KS).
