The Highlands Scots thwarted the visiting Golden Sierra Grizzlies football team by a count of 32-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Scots travel to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA) to confront the Rams in a Sierra Delta League outing on Friday, October 20. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 5-2. Rio Vista won 42-0 in their recent league outing against Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA)

With the loss, Golden Sierra moves to 2-5 on the season. The Grizzlies host San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Sierra Delta League outing on Friday, October 20. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 1-7. San Juan lost 62-33 in their recent league outing against Esparto (Esparto, CA)
