The Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) football overcame the host Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC), 56-39 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a AA Region 1 bout, on Friday, October 20. Ninety Six will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 54-13 league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC).

The Red Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Cardinals enter the AA Region 1 bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Landrum was toppled by Abbeville (Abbeville, SC), 49-0, in a league bout.
