Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ), 42-24 in a league battle.

With the win, Notre Dame Prep advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Saints travel to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, October 17. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Cactus Shadows lost 24-23 in their recent league battle against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Firebirds now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Friday, October 17. Chaparral will face a Wolves team coming off a 43-3 non-league win over Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 6-1.
