South Carolina High School Football - Cheraw drops to North Central

October 14, 2022: Kershaw, SC 29067

In Friday's league game, the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) football team knocked off the visiting Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), by a final score of 32-23.

The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers come into the AA Region 5 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Andrew Jackson toppled Central (Pageland, SC), 31-6, in a league game.

The Braves now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Buford for a AA Region 5 game on Friday, October 21. Cheraw will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 49-42 league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-1.
