October 14, 2023: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The St. John Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Family Christian for a Division V District 5 game on Monday, October 16. St. John will meet a Flames team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Flames record now stands at 8-5.
The Sharks (2-15) will now prepare for their game against Collegiate (Baton Rouge, LA). The enter the Division III District 5 game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Collegiate dropped by Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
