The Lakewood Gators volleyball squad (Sumter, SC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Hartsville Red Foxes (Hartsville, SC)

With the win, Hartsville improves its record to 21-9 on the season. The Red Foxes host South Florence (Florence, SC) to encounter the Bruins in a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 11-14. South Florence won 3-0 in their recent league test against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC)

The Gators now own a 0-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestwood for a AAAA Region 5 test on Wednesday, October 15. Lakewood will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Knights record now stands at 4-15.
