October 15, 2022: Erie, IL 61250 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) and the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), saw Erie-Prophetstown's volleyball squad beat West Prairie by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Erie-Prophetstown upgrades its record to 15-13 on the year. The Panthers host Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Newman Central Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Durand (Durand, IL)
The Cyclones now own a 15-15 record. They play next when they travel to Morrison for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 15. West Prairie will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-21.
