Rhode Island High School Soccer - Johnston toppled by Exeter-West Greenwich
October 15, 2025: West Greenwich, RI 02817 Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Exeter-West Greenwich advances its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Scarlet Knights travel to Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI) to clash with the Knights in a Division 3 test on Saturday, October 18. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-8. Providence Country Day lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 3 outing, on Thursday, October 16. Johnston will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 7-3 league loss to Classical (Providence, RI).
