With the win, Smithfield-Selma moves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to battle the Saints in a Quad County 3A bout on Wednesday, October 18. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Southern Wayne won 2-0 in their recent league bout against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A contest, on Wednesday, October 18. West Johnston will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the contest with a 17-2 record after their 5-1 league win over Fike (Wilson, NC).
