Connecticut High School Volleyball - Branford over Wilbur Cross

In Monday's league contest, the Branford Hornets (Branford, CT) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 20. Branford will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT).

With the loss, Wilbur Cross moves to 8-7 on the year. The Governors travel to Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to battle the Presidents in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 18.
