October 16, 2024: Piedmont, SC 29673 The Greenwood Eagles football squad scored 47 points and limited the host Woodmont Wildcats to 12 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Easley for a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. Greenwood will meet a Green Wave squad coming off a 35-16 non-league win over Walhalla (Walhalla, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Woodmont drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mauldin (Mauldin, SC) to meet the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 2-3. Mauldin won 30-25 in their recent non-league test against Greenville (Greenville, SC)
