October 16, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85019 In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Alhambra Lions volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Fairfax Stampede.
The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats come into the 5A - Metro challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Central lost by Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stampede play the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A - Metro challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ).
