Maryland High School Football - Perryville can't hold off Elkton
October 16, 2025: Perryville, MD 21903 Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Perryville Panthers (Perryville, MD), 19-14 in a non-league battle.
With the triumph, Elkton upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Golden Elks travel to SEED (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Sabers in a non-league match on Thursday, October 23. The Sabers come into the match with a record of 5-2. SEED won 29-20 in their recent non-league match against Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD)
Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Patterson Mill Huskies (Bel Air, MD) in a Class 1A South challenge, on Friday, October 24. Perryville will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 34-27 non-league loss to Bel Air (Bel Air, MD).
