The George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) football tipped the visiting Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX), 44-40 in Thursday's league outing.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alief Taylor for a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Friday, November 1.

With the defeat, Alief Elsik drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Fulshear (Fulshear, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Friday, November 1. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 8-0. Fulshear won 48-14 in their recent league outing against Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX)
