The American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots football squad scored 56 points and limited the host East Columbus Gators to 19 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Prep Academy for a non-league match on Friday, October 25. American Leadership Academy-Johnston will confront a Guardians squad coming off a 24-13 league loss to Mount Zion Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Guardians record now stands at 3-5.
Coming up next, the Gators confront the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a 1A/2A Waccamaw match, on Friday, October 25. East Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
