South Carolina High School Football - May River loses to Hilton Head Island

Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), 23-10 in a league battle.

With the win, Hilton Head Island advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Seahawks host Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 25. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-7. Colleton County lost 34-3 in their recent league battle against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC)

The Sharks now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Beaufort for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 25. May River will play a Eagles team coming off a 31-14 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
