The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) flag football trounced the visiting Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), 60-12 in Thursday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 24-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grant for a Metropolitan League test on Tuesday, October 22. McClatchy will meet a Pacers squad coming off a 20-19 league loss to Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA). The Pacers record now stands at 4-8.
