South Carolina High School Football - Lower Richland thwarted by Crestwood
October 17, 2024: Sumter, SC 29153 Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 16-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Crestwood improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights host Darlington (Darlington, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Darlington lost 12-2 in their recent league battle against Hartsville (Hartsville, SC)
The Diamond Hornets now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Manning for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. Lower Richland will play a Monarchs team coming off a 33-14 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, SC). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-2.
