South Carolina High School Football - North Charleston crushed by Orangeburg-Wilkinson
October 17, 2024: Orangeburg, SC 29118 Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC), 40-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Orangeburg-Wilkinson improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bruins host Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Landsharks in a battle on Thursday, October 31. The Landsharks go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Oceanside Collegiate Academy won 48-14 in their recent league battle against Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC)
The Cougars now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Hanahan for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. North Charleston will play a Hawks team coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
