California High School Volleyball - Sylmar over Poly
October 17, 2024: Sun Valley, CA 91352 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) and the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), observed Sylmar's volleyball team top Poly by a tally of 3-1.
The Spartans (21-20) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors enter the non-league contest with a 36-7 record. In their last contest, Taft beat Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Parrots meet the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Monday, October 21. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 26-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Arleta (Arleta, CA).
