North Carolina High School Football - Cardinal Gibbons tops Middle Creek
October 17, 2025: Apex, NC 27539 The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Middle Creek Mustangs to 14 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sanderson for a Triangle Six 6A/7A challenge on Friday, October 24. Cardinal Gibbons will face a Spartans team coming off a 24-14 league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the Triangle Six 6A/7A challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Cary toppled Sanderson (Raleigh, NC), 32-29, in a league challenge.
