The Jackson Prep Patriots football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Copiah Academy Colonels to 3 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silliman Institute for a MAIS 4A District 4 challenge on Friday, October 24. Jackson Prep will play a Wildcats team coming off a 14-6 league loss to Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.

The Colonels (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS). The Saints go into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Greenville Christian was ripped by Indianola Academy (Indianola, MS), 58-36, in a league challenge.
