The Kirtland Hornets walloped the visiting Crestwood Red Devils football team by a score of 40-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge, on Friday, October 24. Kirtland will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Rovers come into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 31-24 league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH).

With the defeat, Crestwood drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, October 24.
