New Mexico High School Football - New Mexico Military Institute falls to Dexter

October 17, 2025: Dexter, NM 88230

The Dexter Demons felled the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts football team by a score of 34-16 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Demons play the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a 3A District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 32-13 league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).

With the defeat, New Mexico Military Institute drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM) to meet the Warriors in a 3A District 3 test on Friday, October 24. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-4. Ruidoso won 24-0 in their recent league test against Cobre (Bayard, NM)
