Indiana High School Football - Franklin County defeats North Decatur

October 17, 2025: Brookville, IN 47012

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) and the visiting North Decatur Chargers (Greensburg, IN), witnessed Franklin County's football squad topple North Decatur by a count of 30-6.

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Batesville (Batesville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, Batesville was topped by Connersville (Connersville, IN), 41-34, in a league bout.

The Chargers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Greenwood Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, October 24. North Decatur will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 48-8 non-league win over Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
